JAMMU: Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, today inspected Boria Filtration Plant at Bage-e-Bahu.
During his visit, the Minister emphasised the need for clean surroundings and pulled up officers over unhygienic conditions there. He directed for cleanliness, landscaping and plantation at all water installations in J&K. He also stressed on maintaining water quality and regular testing to provide safe and clean drinking water to people.
Javed Ahmed Rana also took stock of facilities at Jambu Zoo and emphasised on effective conservation efforts, eco-tourism promotion and enhanced animal care. He directed the officers to enhance facilities for animal lovers while ensuring animal welfare simultaneously.
