Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Provincial President Showkat Mir Monday said that under the leadership of Omar Abdullah, the government will address the injustices faced by the people in remote areas of Jammu and Kashmir.

During a workers meeting at Langate, organized by In Charge constituency Langate Shafkat Watali, Mir said that the government led by Omar Abdullah is actively working to eradicate years of unaccountability that have plagued remote areas, including Langate. Alongside South Zone President Syed Tauqeer and GM Bhat, Mir emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring equitable representation for neglected regions like Langate.

“The elected government is dedicated to promoting balanced development across all areas of Jammu and Kashmir, with a specific focus on Langate,” Mir said adding that the government’s previous neglect of Langate will no longer be tolerated, as the area will now be prioritized for development.

Mir reiterated the party’s unwavering dedication to the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He vowed to tirelessly address public grievances and work towards the restoration of statehood, as well as the overall development of the region. “The party stands firm in its commitment to advancing the prosperity and well-being of all residents of Jammu and Kashmir,” he added.
