Srinagar: Police in Pulwama today attached a single storey residential house belonging to a “notorious” drug peddler Javaid Ahmad Ganaie, son of Mohammad Shaban Ganie, resident of Loolipora Kakapora, a police spokesperson informed.
In Awantipora too, a single-storied residential house belonging to drug peddler Tajamul Masoodi, son of Late Badrudin Masoodi of Bagander, Pampore , was attached under section 68-F of NDPS Act 1985.
These properties, police said, were illegally acquired properties – “prima facie acquired from illicit trafficking in narcotic drug and psychotropic substances” by the owners.
