Minor boy electrocuted to death in Poonch

Jammu: A 15-year-old boy was killed due to electric shock in Mendhar area of Poonch district on Thursday.

Quoting officials, news agency GNS reported that a boy came accidentally in contact with a live wire resulting in severe injuries to him. He was shifted to Sub-District Hospital Mendhar for treatment, however doctors there declared him brought dead.

The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Ashfaq (15), son of Mohammad Aslam, resident of Gohlad.

Police have registered a case in this regard and started investigations.
