JAMMU: The J&K Arm Wrestling Championship 2024, organized under the “My Youth My Pride” initiative of the J&K Sports Council, concluded successfully today.
The event was organized by the J&K Power Sports Association and sanctioned by the People’s Arm Wrestling Federation of India.
Minister for Youth Services & Sports, Satish Sharma graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
While speaking on the occasion, the Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to promoting sports and assured the academy of continued support in enhancing sports infrastructure and opportunities for athletes in J&K.
Satish Sharma applauded the winners for their remarkable achievements and encouraged them to strive for excellence. He assured them of his unwavering support and said that the government is committed to providing better infrastructure and modern facilities for sports persons.
The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from arm wrestling enthusiasts across the J&K.
