Srinagar: The annual regular exams of 10th, 11th and 12th standards are likely to commence from 3rd week of February 2025.

A top official of Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) informed that they are working to conduct the annual regular board exams of 10th to 12th standard from the third week of February, news agency KNO reported.

“Although we have not decided any date yet regarding the conduct of annual regular exams of 10th, 11th and 12th standards, the board is charting out a mechanism to commence the exams probably in between February 10 to February 15,” he said.

The official added that “this time we will try to conduct the exams of 10th, 11th and 12th standard a month earlier so that students are able to carry on their studies as per the previous academic session (Nov-Dec).

“We will also try to announce the results at the earliest. I think it will take at least 45-50 days to assess the question papers and some more days to prepare the results respectively.”

The official further said that in order to safeguard the time of candidates, “The students will be given a provisional admission in new classes so that their time is not wasted.”
