SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a scheduled power shut down for maintenance purposes.
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the 33KV Burzhama tap line will be taken offline to facilitate essential maintenance works. Consequently, the 33/11KV Receiving Station at Burzhama will remain non-operational, affecting the power supply to several areas.
Residents of Burzhama, Chaterhama, Tailbal, Danihama, and Khimber are advised to prepare for power outages between 10:00 AM and 02:00 PM on December 7, 2024.
KPDCL has urged the public to bear with the inconvenience, emphasizing that the maintenance is critical to ensuring a more reliable power supply in the future.
