Satish Sharma resolves lighting issue in Chatti Padshahi Gurudwara Srinagar

SRINAGAR/JAMMU: Taking swift action on the demands raised by Gurudwara Committee, Chatti Padshahi Gurudwara Srinagar during his recent visit, Minister for Youth Services and Sports, Information Technology, Science and Technology, Transport, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Satish Sharma, while taking due notice of matter got the issue of lighting in and around the premises of the Gurudwara resolved promptly.

The department, acting on the directions of the Minister, installed six solar lights in and around the Gurudwara.

The Gurudwara Committee expressed gratitude to the Minister for taking immediate action on their demands and resolving the issue.

In another significant development of public importance, on the directions of Minister for Transport, Youth Services and Sports, Information Technology, Science and Technology, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Satish Sharma, Jammu Kashmir Road Transport Corporation (JKRTC) started AC bus service from Banihal to Jammu and back, providing immediate relief to daily commuters traveling on the route.

Taking prompt action on the demand raised by the locals, the Minister instructed the JKRTC management to start a special bus service between Banihal and Jammu.

MLA Banihal, Sajjad Shaheen expressed gratitude to the Minister for taking immediate action and said that it was a long pending demand of the people which has been fulfilled by the intervention of the Minister.
