World Crafts Council’s 60th jubilee: Vice President WCC visits School of Designs at Srinagar

SRINAGAR: Vice President, World Craft Council, Nadia Meer, visited the School of Designs, Kashmir Haat Exhibition Ground, Srinagar.

The visit came on the sidelines as part of the World Crafts Council’s 60th jubilee celebration extension programme, being hosted by the J&K government.

Nadia Meer had an extensive tour of the institute where she interacted with the officials. She evinced keen interest in the innovative designs and masterpieces of Kashmir craft being displayed there.

The Vice President applauded the officials of the School of Designs, Kashmir for their exceptional craftsmanship and creativity.

The Chief Designer School of Designs highlighted the remarkable progress made in the Design School by integrating traditional and contemporary design techniques.

“The work being done at School of Designs Srinagar is a testament to the talent and dedication of the team,” stated the Vice President during an interactive session while lauding the innovative creations at the Institute.
