SRINAGAR: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo today paid obeisance at the revered shrine Dargah Hazratbal Srinagar.

On the occasion, the Minister prayed for the well-being of every individual in Jammu and Kashmir as well as for the peace, progress, prosperity and development of the region.

The Minister, during the visit, also engaged with the members of the Dargah Committee and discussed several issues related to the development of the Dargah.

While interacting with the Committee members, the Minister assured them all possible support from the Government. She highlighted that Dargah Hazratbal is a symbol of peace and spirituality that transcends boundaries. She added that this holy shrine serves as a reminder of the values of tolerance and unity our place is known for.

During the visit, the Minister also interacted with locals of the Hazratbal area and patiently listened to their issues and grievances. She assured them that all of their genuine issues and problems would be addressed promptly.

MLA Hazratbal, Salman Ali Sagar; Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat; other concerned officers also accompanied the Minister during the visit.
