JAMMU: Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Kumar Choudhary, today conducted a surprise inspection of Chief Engineer R&B Jammu office and Government Hospital Gandhinagar.
While interacting with the staff there, the Deputy Chief Minister maintained that the government is committed to ensuring speedy and hassle-free delivery of public services to the people. He asked the officials to ensure that the people don’t face any inconvenience while availing themselves of the facilities meant for them.
He also directed the hospital authorities to ensure that the patients are provided with quality healthcare facilities. He said that it should be ensured that the benefits of health-related policies are provided to them without fail.
Later, several deputations met with the Deputy Chief Minister at the Civil Secretariat and apprised him of their issues and concerns.
A delegation of Secretariat Employees raised several service-related issues and sought redressal. The deputation of PM package aspirants highlighted the issue of de-reservation of category posts.
Similarly, deputations from Ramban, Rajouri, Doda and Kathua projected issues of the development of their respective areas.
The Deputy Chief Minister, while interacting with deputations, assured that the issues projected by them would be looked into for timely and proper redressal.
