On the occasion, Lakshmi Dutt Shastri, a dedicated educationist, and Jagdish Chandra were honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award for their significant contribution towards the field of education.

In his address, Javed Rana applauded the hard work of the students and praised the theme ‘Aarangam.’ He acknowledged the role of private educational institutions in providing quality education while calling for expanding reach, and accessibility and making it affordable for underprivileged sections of society. He emphasised that fostering a brotherhood environment is crucial for education. He also urged students to plant at least one tree to combat climate change.

Chairman Rameshwar Mengi, Trustee Rita Mengi, Director Pushp Vatika, Risheek Mengi, and several guests from affiliated schools attended the event along with parents and patrons.

Director RM Public School, Rakshan Mengi, Vice Principal, Dr. Harvinder Kour and Administrator, Surinder Singh extended a warm welcome to all dignitaries.

Highlighting the theme of the cultural show, AARANGAM, Dr. Kour explained that it symbolizes a space where challenges and opportunities coexist, testing and celebrating true potential. This theme aims to inspire students to face their own challenges with courage and creativity.

The two-hour cultural show captivated the audience with impressive performances, including interstate flare displays, theatrical presentations on transgender issues, a mask and robot dance besides an energetic bhangra by the students, which filled the event with enthusiasm. A standout moment was the euphonious rendition of the school anthem “We are RMPS Family,” performed by the school orchestra team.

The event also marked the launch of the third volume of the school magazine, ‘Dishari,’.
