MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah visits Govt High School Katipora

Srinagar: In a significant outreach effort, MLA Gulmarg, Farooq Ahmad Shah, visited Government High School Katipora-Qazipora today to interact with the staff and students, gaining firsthand insight into their challenges and concerns.

During his visit, Shah engaged in a detailed conversation with the teaching faculty and students, listening attentively to their issues and suggestions. He assured them that their concerns would be addressed as a top priority, reiterating his commitment to improving the education infrastructure and student experience in the Constituency.

In an inspiring motivational speech, Shah encouraged students to dream big and work diligently toward achieving their goals. He emphasized the importance of education in shaping their future and pledged to create a supportive environment for their academic and personal growth.

Later in the day, the MLA convened a review meeting to assess the performance of key departments, including Roads & Buildings (R&B), Sheep Husbandry, and Animal Husbandry. Shah urged the officers to ensure timely delivery of services and adopt a proactive approach to addressing public grievances.

Expressing his dedication to the holistic development of the Gulmarg constituency, Shah stated, “The welfare of our students, farmers, and the community at large is my foremost priority. I expect all departments to perform with accountability and efficiency to meet the expectations of the people.”

Adding another milestone to his day, Shah inaugurated the Shaheen Library in Kunzer and lauded the efforts of those who contributed to establishing this center of learning. He emphasized the importance of libraries in fostering a culture of reading and knowledge-sharing within the community.
