Residents have expressed frustration, stating that they are forced to make repeated visits to the office, only to be told that the system is down. This inefficiency has resulted in delays in crucial registration processes, including land deeds, affidavits, and other important documentation, severely affecting daily life and economic activities in the region.

A local resident and IT expert Sheikh Imtayaz, while speaking to this reporter, shared their ordeal: “We are told every time that the website is not working. It is very frustrating as we cannot complete even basic tasks without this system.” The locals of Uri alleged that same situation they are facing tehsil office with the tehsildar office in Uri even every time Patwaris and other staff said the portal/site is down.

The public is calling for immediate intervention by higher authorities to address the issue. Many have demanded that alternative arrangements, such as manual processing or dedicated technical support, be made until the website is stabilized.

The residents of Uri have appealed to the MLA uri Dr Sajad Shafi. District Administration and IT Department to take urgent steps to ensure that public services in the SDM and the school office are restored to full functionality without further delay. The locals further said the IT department should enquire why the portal/website remains always down in SDM and Tehsildar office Uri only.
