Srinagar: Srinagar witnessed an inspiring display of talent and determination as 8-year-old Pavitra Pandita, a special child who is deaf and mute, emerged as a star at the 12th National Pencak Silat Championship 2024-2025.

Pavitra showcased extraordinary skill and resilience, securing a gold medal and a silver medal in the competition.

Despite her unique challenges, Pavitra’s dedication and hard work stood out, earning her accolades from fellow participants and spectators alike. Her achievements serve as a beacon of hope and motivation for many, proving that no obstacle is too great to overcome with passion and perseverance.
