Participation in the exhibition makes the units improve their sales volume, understand the current trends in the market and prepare them to be champions in their field. This has been made possible as per the direction of G. Velladurai, Joint Director, IEDS, through PMS section of MSME-DFO Jammu handled by D.K. Tyagi IEDS, Assistant Director.

MSME-DFO Jammu, Field Office of Union Ministry of MSME implements various schemes and activities for the benefit of MSE’s of Jammu & Kashmir.

Procurement and Marketing Support scheme is one of them. As per the scheme guidelines the MSEs are eligible to claim reimbursement of 80 to 100 % stall charges, publicity expenditures, and travelling expenditure for participation in about 250 exhibition or trade fairs approved by Union Ministry of MSME. The lists of approved exhibitions are available on https://my.msme.gov.in/MyMsme/Reg/COM_ViewEvent.aspx.

All the applications are received online only without any manual intervention and processed online. It is also to mention here that a maximum of 60 units can participate in any of the approved exhibitions.
