Srinagar: The weatherman here has predicted a three-day wet spell from Thursday, saying that light rains and snowfall are expected for the next three days.
Pertinently, higher reaches of Kashmir received fresh snowfall while rains lashed plains on Monday, ending the 50-day long dry spell in Kashmir. However, the weather conditions improved for the two days on Tuesday and Wednesday with parts of Kashmir witnessing sunshine as well.
The details of forecast shared by the local Meteorological department (MeT) reveal that there is a possibility of light rains and snow (in higher reaches) at many places of Kashmir and a few places of Jammu division on Thursday and Friday (November 14 & 15).
Director MeT, Dr Mukhtar Ahmad said that the light rain and snow (higher reaches) is also expected on Saturday (November 16) at scattered places of J&K.
However, he added that the weather conditions are expected to remain generally dry from November 17 to 23 in J&K.
