Srinagar: An encounter broke out between militants and security forces in the Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday night.
Reports said that the gunfight broke out after the police and security forces launched a cordon-and-search-operation in the Sagipora area.
They said that three militants are believed to be trapped in the area.
