Srinagar: As the House met after 15 minutes of adjournment, BJP legislators refused to settle down and instead tried to storm into the Well of the House forcing the Speaker to issues directions to Marshalls to take out those who storm into the Well of the House.

Many BJP MLAs including R S Panthania, and others were Marshalled out of the House. “Take those out of the House who try to come into the Well of the House,” the Speaker said amid total commotion. The remaining BJP MLAs continued to shout “take back the special status resolution.”

“This House, not a fish market. This is the Legislative Assembly,” the speaker said as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

Intervening, Food Minister Satish Sharma in a scathing attack on the BJP said: “The fact is that we speak Man ki baat of BJP. Jammu youth are unemployed, the region’s economy is shattered and BJP is not bothered.”

NC MLA from Gurez Nazir Gurezi also cornered the BJP stating that “They are not bothered about Jammu and doesn’t want progress of Jammu region.” BJP MLA Shagun Parihar climbed on the table in the Well of the House to register their protest.

The MLAs from the treasury benches shouted counter slogans at BJP MLAs in a bid to corner them. Treasury benches also raised slogans: Jammu Kashmir ki awaz kya, 370 aur kya.” The continued when this report was being filed—(KNO)
