Pr Secy School Education reviews functioning of Sainik School Manasbal

MANASBAL (GANDERBAL): Principal Secretary, School Education, Suresh Kumar Gupta today visited Sainik School Manasbal and reviewed the functioning of the institution.

During the visit, the Principal Secretary held a detailed round of school premises and inspected its infrastructure like classrooms, hostels, library, laboratories, sports facilities, administration block, and multipurpose hall, among others. He also interacted with teaching faculty and students.

While engaging with teachers, the Principal Secretary emphasized that the teachers have great responsibility as it is a boarding school and the students have maximum interaction with them. He asked them that their teachings, guidance, training and conduct shall be responsible for shaping future of students with long lasting impact on their careers and lives.

He called upon the teaching faculty to lead by example and contribute their best to take this institute to greater heights. He also asked the teachers to take responsibility and bring about a qualitative change in academics and other co-curricular activities.

Interacting with students, the Principal Secretary impressed upon the students to look beyond the traditional fields in career making. He asked them to strive hard to join the glorious defence services of the country, as the school has the potential for same and has been rightly named as Sainik School.

The Principal Secretary, during the visit, also inspected building damaged in recent fire incident and directed Principal, Sainik School Manasbal to take immediate measures for its reconstruction and renovation.

Suresh Kumar assured the school management that regular meetings will be conducted to address various issues and ensure its further development, improvement and progress.

Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, Director School Education, Chief Education Officer Ganderbal, Principal Sainik School Manasbal and other officers of School Education Department also accompanied the Principal Secretary during the visit.
