DLSA Anantnag hosts innovative prog to instill values in kindergarten children

Anantnag: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Anantnag organized a unique program, “Instilling Values among Children from Kindergarten,” aimed at laying a foundation for positive character development among young children.

Held at the DLSA premises, the event focused on introducing essential moral values, empathy, and responsible behavior to children from local schools, with the goal of nurturing ethical foundations from an early age.

The program, crafted to be engaging and age-appropriate for kindergarten-aged participants, emphasized the significance of early childhood education in shaping future generations. With activities tailored to teach values like honesty, respect, kindness, and cooperation, the DLSA team engaged children through storytelling, role-playing, and interactive games. Young participants enthusiastically responded, exhibiting curiosity and excitement as they learned lessons about empathy, respect for others, and the importance of sharing and caring.

Secretary DLSA Anantnag, Muzamil Ahmad Wani, along with dedicated team members, welcomed kindergarten students who were accompanied by their teachers and guardians. Wani highlighted the importance of instilling moral values early on, stating, “Our society benefits when we help young minds understand the importance of ethics, kindness, and respect from the very beginning. These children will one day be the pillars of our society, and it is our duty to guide them onto a path of positive values.”

This initiative by DLSA Anantnag aligns with its mission to promote not only legal awareness but also social responsibility, starting from the grassroots level. The event concluded with the distribution of small tokens of appreciation and refreshments for the children. DLSA Anantnag aims to conduct similar programs in the future, with the hope of reaching more schools and young children across the district, reinforcing values that build character and foster a responsible society.
