During the meeting, the ADC provided a comprehensive overview of the district’s developmental landscape highlighting the progress on several ongoing key projects.

The Executive Engineer R&B presented a detailed status report on the road infrastructure projects under implementation in the district.

Subsequently, the Advisor met several public delegations who raised several developmental issues and concerns. The primary issues raised included the need for road widening projects, timely completion of bridges, concerns related to mining and the provision of a reliable portable water supply in the district.

Notably, the deputations emphasized the urgency of road widening projects for key routes, such as the Pandach-Beehama road, Duderhama to Towheed Chock and Beehama to Umar Hair Buchpora road.

Responding to these concerns, the Advisor directed the Executive Engineer R&B to promptly prepare DPRs for the road widening initiatives between Beehama and Towheed Chock, as well as Beehama to Umar Hair Buchpora. He also called for preparation to include provisions for shifting utilities, enabling informed discussions at higher administrative levels to ensure strategic planning and execution.

Reassuring the public, the Advisor stated, “The government remains steadfast in its commitment to take all necessary steps, within regulatory norms, to address the issues faced by the people and improve their quality of life.”
