Srinagar: A road accident in the Veervan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday left a dozen passengers injured.

Eyewitnesses said that a minibus (JK05D-3618) travelling from Naganadri to Baramulla, overturned after the driver lost control of the wheel reportedly due to some mechanical failure. Around 12 passengers were injured who were taken to Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla for medical help.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
