SRINAGAR: A delegation from the Health and Medical Education (H&ME) Employees Federation today met with the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Surinder Kumar Choudhary, and the Health Minister, Sakeena Itoo, at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar.
The delegation, led by Federation President Shabir Ahmad Langoo, along with Vice President Adil Mustafa Bhat, General Secretary Shahnawaz Ahmad, and Organising Secretary M Shafee Quadri, congratulated the ministers on their recent appointments.
During the meeting, the delegation discussed key issues affecting the department’s employees, such as duty hours, workplace timings, employee welfare, and career advancement opportunities. A significant concern raised was the salary-related problems faced by Hospital Development Fund employees.
The ministers listened attentively to the delegation’s concerns and assured that all genuine issues would be addressed in a timely manner. The assurance from the ministers has been welcomed by the employees, who are hopeful that their grievances will soon be resolved.
