DDC B’la reviews progress of works under District Capex Budget, SSY, Aspirational Block & other Sectors

BARAMULLA: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, today chaired a meeting at the DC office here to review the progress of works under various components of District Capex Budget 2024-25, including Aspirational Block, Aspirational Panchayat, and other related sectors of public importance.

At the outset, the DDC took a comprehensive sector wise review of the progress of deliverables under the district CAPEX budget for 2024–25 of all the pertaining departments, including R&B, Animal Husbandry, Revenue, Education, and others.

On the occasion, the DDC was appraised in detail by the department heads with regard to works allotted, tendered, and the status of works completed in other sectors.

After taking the individual department work-wise review, Minga Sherpa stressed to the concerned department heads to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of work in view of the approaching winter.

Meanwhile, the DDC directed the officers present to meet the developmental targets set for the financial year 2024-25 within the allocated timeframe and ensure maximum realization of expenditure by the end of December.

Furthermore, Minga Sherpa instructed the department heads to coordinate effectively in resolving any bottlenecks related to land issues and other matters that might impede the progress of development initiatives.
