Srinagar: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi today complimented National Conference (NC) for commendable performance in Jammu & Kashmir Assembly elections 2024.

PM Modi also said these elections were very special as it held for the first time after Article 370 abrogation that witnessed a high voter turnout.

Taking to micro-blogging site X (formerly twitter), the PM Modi said: “I would like to compliment JKNC for their commendable performance in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections”.

“I am proud of the BJP’s performance in Jammu and Kashmir. I thank all those who have voted for our Party and placed their trust in us. I assure the people that we will keep working for the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir. I also appreciate the industrious efforts of our Karyakartas,” the post said.

The post on X further added, “These elections in Jammu and Kashmir have been very special. They were held for the first time after the removal of Articles 370 and 35(A) and witnessed a high turnout, thus showing the people’s belief in democracy. I compliment each and every person of Jammu and Kashmir for this”.

The Union Home Minister Amit Shah thanked people of Jammu & Kashmir for blessing BJP with the highest percentage of votes and seats in Assembly elections 2024 so far.

He said that BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to the development and security of J&K, to make the region terror-free.

Taking to micro-blogging site X (formerly twitter), the Union Home Minister Amit Shah said: “The people of Jammu and Kashmir have blessed the BJP with the highest percentage of votes in this assembly election and have given the BJP the highest number of seats in its history so far. For this, I express my heartfelt gratitude to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Also, I congratulate all the workers of @BJP4JnK for their tireless hard work”.

“Under the leadership of Modiji, BJP is committed to the development and security of Jammu and Kashmir. Making Jammu and Kashmir terror-free and developing it like other parts of the country is the top priority of BJP,” the post on X added.

“Thank you very much for your message of congratulations @narendramodi sahib. We look forward to a constructive relationship in the true spirit of federalism so that the people of J&K may benefit from continued development & good governance,” Omar Abdullah posted on X.
