Srinagar: At least eight security personnel were injured when a bus carrying them was involved in an accident near Vailoo Dudkul, Cheirward in the Kokernag area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday evening.
A senior police officer told NVI that the vehicle, bearing registration number JK03 3238, met with an accident near Cheirward, Kokernag, resulting in injuries to at least eight security personnel.
The injured were promptly taken to SDH Anantnag for further treatment. However, details regarding their condition and identities have yet to be confirmed.
The police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
