Irfan Manhas along with other prominent members joins BJP

Srinagar: Irfan Manhas, Former Youth General Secretary Apni Party (J&K), along with several other prominent personalities from Shopian, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the party’s headquaters Jawahar Nagar Srinagar. 

The joining ceremony was presided over by Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organization) BJP, J&K.

Ashok Koul extended a warm welcome to Irfan Manhas and the others who joined BJP today, emphasizing the growing trust in the party’s vision and leadership in Jammu and Kashmir. He appreciated the decision of Irfan Manhas and his associates to become part of the BJP family, stating that it reflects the people’s faith in the BJP’s policies and its commitment to the development of Jammu and Kashmir.

Irfan Manhas, the son of Zafar Iqbal Manhas, who was a contesting candidate for Member of Parliament (MP), expressed his gratitude to Ashok Koul and the BJP leadership for the warm reception. He stated that his decision to join BJP was driven by the party’s developmental agenda and its efforts to bring peace, prosperity, and growth to the region. Irfan highlighted that he and his supporters believe that under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the guidance of the BJP leadership in J&K, the aspirations of the youth and people of Jammu and Kashmir will be effectively addressed.

On the occasion, Javid Qadri BJP Assembly Candidate from Shopian welcomed the new joinings.

The joining took place in the presence of senior leaders of BJP J&K, including Party’s Media Incharge Adv Sajid Yousuf Shah, party workers, and supporters, who welcomed the new members with enthusiasm and pledged to work together for the betterment of the Union Territory.
