Srinagar: A man was killed, and another was injured after a slab of an under-construction building collapsed near Baba Motors in the Model Town Sopore area on Wednesday.
A police official said that two people — Adil Ahmad Dar, son of Nazir Ahmad Dar, and Javeed Ahmad Dar, son of Mohammad Subhan Dar, both residents of Nowpora – were injured when a slab collapsed on them.
He said the duo was taken to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Sopore, where doctors declared Adil brought dead, while the other person was undergoing treatment.
