Srinagar: Government of Jammu & Kashmir on Tuesday ordered grant of three days Special Casual Leave in favour of Kashmiri migrant employees posted in Kashmir valley during three phases of assembly elections in the Union Territory.

“Sanction is hereby accorded to the grant of three (03) days Special Casual Leave in favour of Kashmiri migrant employees posted in Kashmir Valley, who are eligible to vote at special polling stations to be set up at Jammu/Udhampur/Delhi during three phases of elections to be held in the Assembly constituencies in the districts of Kashmir province, on the date(s) as indicated:

“During first phase of polls which are scheduled to be held on 18.09.2024, the Kashmiri migrant employees shall avail the special casual leave from 17.09.2024 to 19.09.2024.

“During second phase of polls scheduled to be held on 25.05.2024, they shall avail the special casual leave from 24.09.2024 to 26.09.2024.

Similarly during the third phase of polls the Kashmiri migrant employees shall avail the leave from 30.09.2024 to 02.10.2024, the order reads.
