Contractors Association President Ahsan-ul-Haq Qureshi joins PDP

Srinagar: Ahsan-ul-Haq Qureshi, the President of the Contractors Association Tangmarg, formally joined the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today at the party headquarters in Srinagar.

The induction took place in the presence of PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti and Shabir Ahmad Mir, the party’s candidate for the Gulmarg constituency.

Welcoming Qureshi into the party, Mehbooba Mufti expressed her optimism about the positive impact of his inclusion in the PDP. She acknowledged the growing support for the party and emphasized the importance of grassroots leaders like Qureshi in strengthening the party’s presence in key regions.

Qureshi was accompanied by several other locals, who also pledged their support to the PDP during the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Shabir Ahmad Mir hailed Qureshi’s decision to join the party, describing it as a “great boost” for the PDP in the Gulmarg constituency. Mir noted that prominent figures from the area were increasingly placing their trust in the party’s leadership and expressed confidence that their combined efforts would contribute to the progress and prosperity of the region.
