Srinagar: Former MLC Yasir Reshi, who recently resigned from People’s Conference, Monday joined the Awami Itehaad Party in Srinagar and is likely to contest polls from Sonawari constituency in Bandipora district. Two other political activists also joined the party.

As per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), two others who joined the AIP include Naseer Ahmad Rather and advocate Raja Ashraf Ali Khan.

The candidates include Sheikh Ashiq from Ganderbal, advocate Raja Ashraf Ali Khan from Kangan, Muhammad Maqbool Beigh from Hazratbal, Irshad Qadri from Habba Kadal, advocate Javaid Ahmad Hubbi from Chrar-e-Sharief—(KNO)
