The event commenced with a keynote address by Professor (Dr.) Tehmina Yosuf, Principal of Islamia College Srinagar, who emphasized the importance of nurturing entrepreneurial skills and creativity among students. She highlighted that World Entrepreneurs Day serves as a crucial reminder of the role innovation and entrepreneurship play in driving economic growth and social change. Dr. Yosuf further noted that such events provide valuable networking opportunities, allowing students to connect with industry professionals and potential mentors.

Prominent business leaders and successful entrepreneurs, including Mr. Irtif Lone, a Start-Up Ecosystem Specialist, and Mr. Dawar Mir, Founder of Ziraat Agro Venture, shared their journeys and experiences in the world of entrepreneurship. They underscored the significance of workshops and panel discussions that focus on innovative business strategies, startup challenges, and the importance of resilience in business.

The college also hosted a startup showcase, where student-led ventures presented their business ideas to a panel of experts. This provided a platform for budding entrepreneurs to gain valuable feedback and explore potential opportunities for growth.

A lively question-and-answer session, moderated by Dr. Nasreen and Professor Saba Matoo from the management studies faculty at ICSC, concluded the event.
