Srinagar: A delegation from Banihal, led by candidate Sajjad Shaheen, called on the President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, at his residence in Gupkar today.
The delegation, which also included DDC Chairman Dr. Shamshad Shan, met Dr. Farooq Abdullah. During the meeting, several members from the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) and Apni Party joined the National Conference fold on the occasion. Prior to this meeting, the delegation had a fruitful discussion with Omar Abdullah at his Gupkar residence.
Dr. Farooq Abdullah addressed the delegation, stressing the importance of unity within the party and urging members to work tirelessly for the success of party candidates. It was a momentous occasion, highlighting the commitment and dedication of all those involved in the political process.
He urged the workers to unite and work together, emphasizing that every corner of the constituency will receive equal attention and development.
