Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Provincial President and Candidate Kupwara Nasir Aslam Wani was warmly welcomed in Kupwara during his first visit to the area after being nominated by the party to contest the assembly elections from the Kupwara assembly segment.

Upon his arrival, Nasir Aslam was greeted by hundreds of enthusiastic workers who had gathered despite heavy rains at Drugmulla. They raised slogans in support of the NC and Nasir Aslam Wani as the cavalcade proceeded to the Maqami Shah Wali (RA) shrine, where the NC leader sought blessings and prayed for the well-being of the people in Kupwara.

Nasir Wani then led the cavalcade to GeerHati, where he addressed a public gathering that had gathered to celebrate his nomination. He expressed his commitment to strengthening the INDIA bloc and defeating the forces that have contributed to the downgrade of Jammu and Kashmir. “I have numerous aspirations for the people of Kupwara, particularly the youth, and I am determined to fulfil them during my tenure as a member of the legislative assembly,” Nasir declared.

He emphasized the importance of protecting jobs and land rights and addressing youth concerns such as unemployment, lack of sports opportunities, and underdevelopment in healthcare and education.

Amidst chants of support from the youth, Nasir outlined his ambitious developmental plans for the frontier district. “We must transform Kupwara into a model constituency not only in Jammu and Kashmir but throughout the country,” he proclaimed confidently.

Nasir Aslam Wani’s visit to Kupwara was not just a promise of growth and opportunities, but a bold declaration of his commitment to the people and the development of the region.
