Srinagar: Police in Sopore attached a single storied residential house and some land belonging to a “terror associate” under the provisions of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, a police spokesperson informed Friday.
He said the attached property belonged to Abdul Rashid Najar, son of Abdul Ahad Najar, resident of Naseem Bagh Krankshivan Colony Sopore. Land measuring one Kanal and one marla falling under khsara No. 237/1 in estate Amargrah Sopore was also attached.
The attachment was executed under the provisions of Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, after receiving approval from the competent authority, police said.
