“In pursuance of the approval conveyed by the Election Commission of India vide letter No. 154/JK/2024-P.Adm dated 20.08.2024, Mr. Rahul Sharma, IAS (AGMUT:2013), Member, Special Tribunal, J&K is hereby appointed as Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Jammu and Kashmir with immediate effect,” reads and order, news agency KNC reported.
