ADC Sopore visits Rohama & Dangiwacha Tehsils

SOPORE: In response to the recent earthquake that impacted several areas in Sopore, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sopore, along with a team of Officers conducted an extensive visit to assess the damage caused by to recent earthquake.

The visit spanned various villages including Sialkot, Balhama, Rohama, Shutloo, Tragpora, Watergam, Dangiwacha, Chatoosa, Kungroosa, Achabal, and Ladoora.

During the visit, the ADC engaged with residents to understand their concerns and the extent of the damage caused by the earthquake. The local population expressed their worries regarding the structural damages to their homes and other buildings, urging for immediate relief and rehabilitation for the affected families.

The ADC Sopore assured the residents that all necessary measures would be taken to address their concerns and provide timely assistance. He also informed the community that a detailed statement of the damages has been prepared and submitted to the Deputy Commissioner of Baramulla for further action.
