Srinagar: Former MLA Usman Majid Sunday said that the moment he chose to quit the Apni Party, his security cover was immediately withdrawn.

He was addressing a meeting of party workers at his office in Bandipora today.

During the meeting convened to discuss strategies and plans for the upcoming Assembly elections, Usman Majid expressed his commitment to the welfare and progress of Bandipora. “We will work together for the betterment and development of Bandipora,” Majid assured his supporters.

He emphasized that his decision to exit the Apni Party was driven by his desire to serve the people of Bandipora more effectively and to bring about the positive change they deserve.

During the meeting the response of the party workers was overwhelming, as they spoke in unison, expressing their steadfast support for Usman Majid. “As long as we are alive, you don’t need any security. We are your security,” the workers declared, echoing their trust and loyalty towards their leader,” workers echoed.

The former MLA thanked his supporters for their unwavering faith. He reiterated his commitment to working tirelessly for the people of Bandipora and ensuring that their voices are heard in the corridors of power.
