Principal Secy Culture releases Haya Zeeshan’s maiden literary work “Caddle”

Srinagar: Principal Secretary Culture, Suresh Kumar Gupta today released the book “Caddle” on the sidelines of an impressive cultural event at Tagore Hall here.
Director, Libraries & Research, J&K, Mohammad Rafi, senior officers from Department of Culture and School Education Department were present on the occasion.
“Caddle” is a collection of poems written by budding writer Haya Zeeshan who is a class 10th student of International Islamic School, Humhama. Daughter of Valley’s leading Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist Dr Zeeshan Ahmad Wani, Haya Zeeshan said her book is about optimism and positivity in life.
“I was always fascinated by poetry and through this book I want the readers to realize that it is OK to lose people, because that makes you feel, which people are actually right for you,” Haya said and added that poetry is not just a process where you learn a few words, collect them, arrange them and put across, it is something that comes out from deep inside you.
She praised her parents, her family, her teachers and her friends for providing her unflinching support in her maiden endeavour as a writer.
Suresh Kumar Gupta complimented the young writer for her work and said that it will inspire more young writers to make their debut in the literary field. “Caddle as not just a collection of poems, but a celebration of creativity, innovation, and the power of poetry,” he said.
A large number of artists, writers, poets, cultural enthusiasts and people from different walks of life, who were present on the occasion, applauded Haya Zeeshan for her maiden literary initiative.
