Srinagar: A young woman slipped to death from a hilltop in Khari tehsil of Ramban district on Wednesday, officials said.
They said that Rehana Begum (23), wife of Bilal Ahmed, resident of Khawra Khari, slipped from a hill along the under-construction Kawna–Sirachi link road and fell down into a deep gorge.
She was cutting grass for cattle when the mishap took place, said an official, adding the woman was moved to PHC Khari where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
The woman, he said, was expecting her second child.
