Srinagar: The Anti Corruption Bureau have arrested an official of SIDCO, Khunmoh, over bribery.
Acting on a complaint that Mohammad Yaseen Sheikh, Senior Accountant, SIDCO, Khunmoh, is demanding ₹20,000 as bribe for processing case of complainant of supplementary partnership deed, ACB after registering a case laid a trap and caught the official red-handed while demanding and accepting bribe of ₹15,000 from the complainant.
He was arrested on the spot by the ACB team and the bribe money was also recovered from his possession in presence of independent witnesses. Further investigation of the case is on, ACB said.
