Srinagar: A boy drowned in River Jhelum while taking a bath in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.
An official said Hazim Nasir, son of Nisar Ahmad Dar of Jalsheeri, drowned while he was bathing in the river Jhelum in old Baramulla.
Soon after the incident, police and SDRF reached the spot and started a rescue operation.
Police have registered a case in this regard.
