During the drive, a total of 95 vehicles were inspected. As a result, 20 vehicles were issued on-the-spot e-challans for various violations identified during the checking. Additionally, documents of 15 vehicles were temporarily retained pending verification.

In addition to enforcement actions, drivers were also sensitized about the importance of adhering to road safety norms.

ARTO Bandipora reiterated the department’s commitment to prioritising road safety and highlighted ongoing multidimensional efforts aimed at reducing road accidents.

He said, “We are steadfast in our mission to curb traffic violations and ensure safer road conditions for all” and added that “strict measures will continue to be enforced against any infractions to safeguard public safety.”
