MP Ghulam Ali Khatana visits Gurez, reviews performance of various deptts

BANDIPORA: Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Ghulam Ali Khatana conducted a comprehensive performance review of various departments, progress of development projects and healthcare facilities during his visit to Gurez today.

His engagements included department-wise assessments aimed at accelerating progress and enhancing public awareness of government initiatives.

The MP convened a meeting with sub-divisional and sectoral officers to discuss ongoing infrastructure projects, road connectivity improvements, educational initiatives, and healthcare provisions in Gurez.

The discussions highlighted the necessity for timely project completion and stressed a collaborative approach to effectively tackle local challenges.

Emphasizing transparency and accountability, Ghulam Ali Khatana underscored the importance of publicizing government schemes to ensure broader accessibility and increased participation among the local population.

He emphasized that public awareness plays a crucial role in maximizing the benefits of government initiatives aimed at fostering socio-economic development.

During his visit to the CHC Dawar Gurez, MP interacted with patients and healthcare providers to gain firsthand insights into the quality of medical services offered. His assessment aimed to improve healthcare facilities and enhance service delivery to meet the evolving needs of the public.

The meeting was attended by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gurez, Mukhtar Ahmad, Tehsildar Gurez, Block Medical Officer (BMO), and officers from various departments.
