Srinagar,: A youth drowned in Nallah Pohru in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported Wednesday.
It said the youth — Ihtisham Shafi (18), son of Mohammad Shafi Lone of Nathipora Bomai — drowned in the stream near a bridge at Sonwani Wadoora, Sopore while he was taking a bath there.
Soon after the incident, local people and police came to the spot and started an operation to find the drowned youth. Further details are awaited.
