Srinagar: Several Amarnath pilgrims received minor injuries after the bus they were travelling in met with an accident near Nachilana in Ramban district on Jammu-Srinagar national highway on Tuesday.
The officials said that a bus (PB-02BNLM-9389) from Punjab met with an accident due to brake failure near Nachilana. Several pilgrims received minor injuries and were given first-aid at the nearby Army camp, the officials said.
The bus, as per officials, was not registered with authorities for ferrying the Amarnath pilgrims to Kashmir.
The bus was coming back after pilgrimage and was on way to Hoshiyarpur Punjab.
