42 teams compete in U-14 Kho-Kho Competition at Nehalpora

Nehalpora: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, Zone Nehalpora, organized the interschool zonal level U-14 Kho-Kho competition at Government Higher Secondary School Nehalpora.

The event, held on June 27, 2023, saw enthusiastic participation from 42 teams, featuring 124 players from various schools.

The competition featured knockout fixtures, with both boys’ and girls’ U-14 age groups competing simultaneously. The high level of competition and sportsmanship was evident throughout the day, as young athletes showcased their skills and teamwork.

The presentation ceremony was graced by the presence of the Principal of the host school, who served as the chief guest. Trophies were awarded to the winners, with BMS Hurhandpora claiming the top spot and BMS Frestahar finishing as the runners-up.

The event highlighted the importance of sports in youth development and provided a platform for young athletes to demonstrate their talents and foster a spirit of camaraderie and fair play.
