Srinagar: A terrorist has been killed in an ongoing encounter between security forces and Terrorists in the Gandoh area of Doda Jammu division on Wednesday.
A top police officer told Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Scroll said that one terrorist has been killed by security forces in Gandoh, whose identity is yet to be ascertained.
He said that earlier search operation was launched on specific input and as the joint team of forces intensified searches towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the forces triggering off a gunfight.
A top police officer has confirmed to Kashmir Scroll about the killing of a terrorist in the ongoing encounter.
