The event began at the school premises and wound through the streets and main market of Kralgund, before concluding back at the school. A large number of students participated, carrying banners and placards with messages such as “Say No to Drugs” and “Say Yes to Sports,” spreading the message of drug-free living among the local community.

The rally was further supported by the Police Station Kralgund, which also organized a rally with student participation. Speaking on the occasion, a school teacher highlighted the critical issue of drug addiction, stating, “Drug addiction is a major problem in modern society, destroying our youth and leading to criminal activities as addicts seek ways to obtain drugs. This must be stopped.”

Students echoed this sentiment during the rally, emphasizing the harmful consequences of drug abuse and the importance of community awareness and protection. They expressed their hope that such initiatives would help create a drug-free society.

In a video message, a student stressed the collective responsibility to protect each other and urged peers to stand up against drug addiction. “Life is precious. Do not waste it. The youth need to be guided on the right path,” the student said, reflecting the shared concerns of the elders.
